Above is my pride and joy, a homemade Casting pot. The spout is foot activated by a pedal not shown in the lower right, you can see it in the upper right of the photo where the connector rod is. The pot holds approximately 200 pounds of Lead, and runs off of 220 volts from my House dryer circuit. The temperature control is a modern restaurant quality dial control from 0 to 1000 degrees with an automatic relay shut-off.

 Mold Pictures

I admit it, I'm a snob when it comes to bullet molds, my personal opinion is that the best molds ever made are the "Hensley & Gibbs" molds. I have a page showing all the pictures of various H&G molds that I have collected over 10 years surfing on the internet. Many of these pictures were saved from Auction sites like Ebay or Auction Arms. I am attempting to collect a picture of each and every H&G mold that was in their catalog.

Here is a picture of my STAR Luber/Sizer setup. I think the STAR luber/sizer is the best on the market, I love mine. The setup allows the sized bullets to drop out the bottom of the sizer and roll down the incline to rest against the base of the flat aluminum plate. I have played around with my sizer setup more than any other in my room. I am still not satisfied with the way it works, but it is adequate for now. The bullets I am sizing in this picture are the excellent Lyman 158 Grain 358156 Gas Check for the .38/.357. I load these over 13.5 grains of 2400 in .38 Special cases with Small Pistol Magnum primers. This is the Skeeter Skelton load for .357MAG guns only, not to be used in .38 Special pistols.
